i would say. i haven't shot a pile of guns...just the 7mm, 10-12g, and 22's. oh yes, and the hurting 300...but i was younger then...

Yeah I remember the first time I shot a 30-06. It gave me a shock! I was pretty young too!

yeah, true true. the first shot of the year is always a guarenteed miss...lousy nerves. this year there'll be some time made for practise shooting

Yep they do that. I remember one time I was trying to shoot one, I brought my gun out, and put a shell in, but when i moved the bolt, damn bird was gone. Next time I walked out there with the gun loaded, and the damn bird knew, he flew away as soon as he seen me!

they hid their nests pretty good this year too...F-I-L usually finds them and demolishes them and whatever's in them. oh well...good hunting practise.

That is why you use camo. My wife shakes her head when I am dressed up in my gillie suit to try to shoot a crow.
Or snipe them from 300 yards with a 222. The hardest part about that is not giggilling while you are aiming
