I bought an 86 E350 in good condition with the purpose of running WVO. I have been collecting oil from four restaurants in the little cubies, & have a small stockpike. I bought a few DVD's on the subject, Diesel & Golden Fuel Systems
grease collection. Also have the book from the Fryer to the Fuel Tank. Don't know if I have the time or ambition to make my own, bio or grease tank conversion.
I don't have another $2000 to plunk down to buy a grease tank system. Has anyone tried the Diesel Energy Secrets formula? Seems simple! I like the idea of not buying a system for every diesel engine & the low inital cost to get started.
I know some of you will cry snake oil, but has anyone tried it? Does it work & is it safe?
What is everyone using? What kind of cost are we talking here?

The question you have to ask yourself is whether or not you want to gamble your truck to save a few bucks.
There is irrefutable proof published in many professional journals, DOE studies, USDA studies and they all reach the same conclusion burning unheated VO is dangerous to the lifespan of diesel engines.
Its a 5 to 1 againt you gamble $10,000 if you lose vs $2000 if you win.
Using Diesel Secret causes you to burn unheated VO.
If you want low startup and not having to buy a system for every diesel you own then consider makiing Biodiesel.
Which ever method you choose I urge you to do it right the stakes are to high to shortcut.

Thanks Fabmandelux, I will check out the postings & the link attachments?
What method/system are you using again?
Your more than welcome Dave. I make and use biodiesel, I use an "open" style of processor, and do not "waterwash" I use Magnesol instead.

Thanks Don, how much does that system cost to get started & what are the advatages of using your type of set up? Where can I get some info on it? Any dangerous chemicals? I don't want any type of spill problem, my home water source is only 18 feet down.
