Another Synthetic Oil Question?

Another Synthetic Oil Question?
Well, I've seen a lot of comments pro and con. But I'm still trying to decide if there really is a difference between the different synthetic oils. I went to Wal-Mart today because I'm getting ready to do my first oil change on a truck I just picked up.
It's a 1994 F250 with a 460 in it. It only has 55,600 miles on it so I was thinking of going synthetic. I figure that it doesn't have too many miles on it and now seems like a good time to go synthetic. (The whole leaking issue is another topic all together). So, my question becomes; which one? At Wal-Mart, the prices are as follows:
ALL FULL SYNTHETIC and ALL 5 QUART JUGS
Mobil 1: $23.86
Castrol Syntax: $23.86
Valvoline: $19.97
Quaker: $19.97
Penzoil: $19.97
Walmart Brand Supertech: $13.86
It seems that every brand listed has those that will swear by it. Wal-Mart also carries the Motocraft Oil filers, and being they are about the same price as the FRAM, I figure I'd go with the Motorcraft filer. (Fram vs Motorcraft, again another topic all together).
Generally speaking, I will be changing my oil about twice a year. It averages about 3500-4000 miles between changes. This truck is normal commuting, normal pickup hauling, virtually no towing except an ocasional 20 mile trip to the lake with a small boat. Basically a very easy load on the truck. I normally will change oil in April and October. Seems like the Supertech at $13.86 a 5 quart jug is not that much more than regular dyno oil. On the other hand, if someone's got some confirned bad experience with it, then what about the others listed. I know some will say that it's only about an extra $10-$15 for Mobil 1, so why debate it. That's true, but then again, people mention that synthetic itself isn't worth the extra cost of dyno oil. So here we have a brand that is API, is synthetic, and is inexpensive. What do you all think? Thanks... Later... Mike....

In my excursion, i have used mobil 1 synthetic and it has 108k miles. I think what matters the most though is that you change the oil every 3k miles, not what kind of oil you buy. So if you plan on driving her easy, and changing every 3k, then a good dino oil should do you no harm. just my .02
