Was good meeting everyone today!

Lots of good subjects discussed over the 3-hour gtg.

Productive too... during a hoods-up truck-sniff, Lance discovered that his upper rad hose wasn't the right one... it fit and worked fine, but has to be removed to change out the serpentine belt. He noticed that mine did not as it went around the belt instead of through it. The p/n was duly recorded.

Funny thing, there was a little black Ranger parked in the middle of our trucks, and I just assumed it was one of ours as I leaned on the rear bumper. It wasn't! (oops)

Lots of nice Fords driving into the parking lot that weren't part of FTE... including a nicely-restored 1930's truck. Maybe we can have more members attending the next gtg, and take over more of the parking lot.

It was good to meet some more ford crazy guys. Nice to put faces to names. I hope we can try to do a GTG once a month. We should try to get the B.C. chapter going. So anyone that wants to meet for coffee let me know. Once again it was nice to meet everyone.

Hi all
sorry for the delay in responding. that day I stayed up for 25 1/2 hours, when 930 pm hit I just couldn't stay awake any longer. slept for 10 hours and tonight Im back to the graveyard shift (boooo) great to meet you all and we had a good time chatting about what ever and what have you. Flat deck if you are interested in the tires let me know if not no biggy just thought if someone could use them come and lets do a change over since the truck will be going to the kidney foundation and that goes for anyone that may want to have them they are free just need for whom ever takes them to put on a junk set of rubber on so it can be towed out of my yard.

these tires are 265 75 16's load range E only have the two and they are recaps with about 800 kms on them. they are on my 80 dodge that I will be giving to the kidney foundation and don't really want the tires to go with them. for all I know the wrecker will take them off and sell them but if you have some old skins to put back on the rims because they are still on the the dodge. it will cost whom ever a bit of money for the mounting and dismounting (unless you have rims with old tires that will bolt onto the old girl) but most likely worth it. I have the jack and impact gun to zip them off as long as I know your coming and bring home the impact. Im not charging anything for them Its just the cost of the reinstall

Those must be pretty heavy duty casing and tires you have there! The 159 is usually a heavy duty casing and truck tire.

Lance, thanks for the offer but I've decided to stick with what I have and that will give me some incentive to get on the tire thing sooner. I am thinking 285's will work for me (stock height, stock rims), unless somebody can tell me different.

Hey Four Sixty,
I'm in the wack all weekend if you wanna have our own GTG for those that missed the real meet at Tim's
Matt

and by the way guys,
I bought my 31's at Discount tire in Bellingham and even with the tax at the border I saved about $200 for the set, mounted and installed

285's on stock rims will for sure work for you. Right now I am trying to figure out if i can get a set of 285's on some 16x10 rims for my 03 f250.
What kind of tires do you plan on getting flatdeck?

Hey four sixty, we are planning on trying to get this chapter up and kicking! Stick around, we will try to have some more meets and stuff like that coming up!
