Nope! Went and bought a welder sat. and lots of parts.
Finished up one of the bumpers today for the EB. pic in gallery in about 5 min. cje07 if your watchin (I know you are) would ya mind.............. I seriously did try to do it myself, but apparently screwed up somewhere.
I only got one pic, since it got dark so fast, But it does look decent I think. Way better that the original chrome peeling, rusted, twisted piece of crap that was on it.
Stay tuned-I think tomorrow is a rain day!!

Well the wife apparrently did not like that bumper that I restored for the truck. She backed into a pole and that bumper is now toast. Back to sqare one on that one!

Went a couple weeks ago and bought a new Weiand stealth intake manifold. Rejetted the carb along with new metering rods and stiffer springs on the metering rods. Carb (600cfm edelbrock) still cannot supply enough fuel to the motor. I thought that with my cam, new heads and this intake that it'd light the tires from a dead stop. Boy was I wrong- it was a minimal improvement over what I had before. (very minimal) The amount of improvementwas NOT worth the $260 I spent on manifold, jets, rods, needles, and gaskets.

That's all that's new with this one, did some work on the '85 Bronc and the '65 F100 too, but that's 2 other threads.....

No new pics this time, even tho the new manifold looks really good, and the bumper equally bad. Speaking of pics, cje07- u still out there? What's up with yours?

Yep..I'm still watching bro! The bodywork has come to halt for the year...too cold. I have been working a new air intake system. Dual cone Spectre performance air intake..fabbing myself. Should get cooler air to the engine and increase performance and mileage. I'll take some picutres soon! I hope to get some work done on the front end this winter shivering my rearend off in the non-heated garage. I'll keep ya'll up to date!

I have a "torpedo" kerosene fired heater in my little one car garage. I heat it up to around 90 degrees, then shut it off and use 2 little space heaters to maintain the heat. The only time I get to do any work like this is in the winter!

I had a propane fired one but that one gave me headaches! I might have to ask for one of the torpedos for X-mas!

There are fumes off of the torpedo heater too, so that is why I get the garage really hot then walk away for a little while with the space heaters going. If you actually use kerosene (I don't as diesel fuel is way cheaper), the fumes are not as bad.

I bought the ole lady a new steel cowl induction hood for Christmas. Got it for 260 bucks. Puttin some pics up in the gallery in a sec. The motor unfortunately has now developed a slight lower end knock. Guess the bodywork is going on hold-again. I do have my color picked out though. If you are interested, look up a 2007 Chevrolet HHR, then look up the color Golden Teal Metallic. I found a site with nothing but pictures of this car in this color. To really see it, find some pics that show lots of angles in good lighting. Hey CJ, got a friend of mine to go buy a Bronc, and he wants to paint it black and tan. I told him he needs to see pics of yours. If you read this, throw up the 2 hood pics, and tell me what you think.
