My orig build date of 3-12 was pushed off just one week to 3-19. Kind of what I expected with the stopage. It was good news for everyone except the competition.

I hope they start shipping motors again soon. Both Ford and International were pretty foolish to let the 6.0 problems get involved with the new 6.4.... I think that ford and international have alot riding on the new motor, and to stop shipping motors is kinda harsh! Although I dont blame them, money talks, and some times you need to do harsh things to get your point across. But to stop shipping motors to ford to hurt the sales of the new 08's was a stupid move. And not to mention all the rumors flying about that ford is switching to a different supplier in the future. I am hoping to get a new 08 this spring, and I hope that the craftmanship of the 6.4 is as good as my 7.3.

Navistar restarted shipping diesels to Ford last week. The judge ordered Nav to ship and Ford to pay for the next 30 days. Both companies are scheduled to come back to the judge in a month and present plans for final resolution. If they don't the judge said he'd make a decision and warned the two companies that they really don't want that.
