The reason the headlights are on the bottom is, headlights up high blind people, Headlights down low do not blind people as much, At least this is what I have read from FORD. I like the 08 and want one, it will be awhile like 4 years from now. I have a 98 F-150 with 104 thousand. I hope this helped out.

its an easy button...DUH!!!!...no seriously if i remember correctly the superduties had it on the 08's also (over by where the headight switch is)...im going to take a stab in the dark and say its an emergency shut off??? maybe...sort of like on the tv show LOST...they didnt press the numbers in , in time so they have to turn the fail safe key...maybe its something like that so there isnt another electromagnetic anomoly...hahaha, if you ont watch the show you have no clue what the hell im talking about!!
