I am putting in a reverse tilt hood and see I should use the dowel and spring instead of the safety latch. This is the one piece I am missing on my hood. In looking in catelogs this setup is almost $40 plus shipping. I didn't have this in my head for the cost. Is there a similar truck I could possibly find this part off of at the salvage yard which will work?
