Unhappy 10% Brake left on rear breaks at 24,000, what?

Gentlemen-
I just had some service done on my truck and the technician said that my front breaks look good but my rear brakes only have about 10% left. Does this make any sense? I thought that your front brakes wear quicker than your rear. Is this a problem that anyone else has encountered? Would Ford cover this since there is only 24K miles on my truck? Any posts appreciated.

I have not verified this but just prior to trading in the 04 F150 for the 06 screw I was told at a tire/brake shop that the newer 150s use more rear than front brakes. I had the same issue on the 04.

There is an electronic brake load balancer on our trucks. There was another thread on here about this.

FYI @ 36,000 miles I had no rear brake pads left and blue heat warped rotors....
