Powerdyne and the cold
My bearings gave out on my Powerdyne last week, and I am wondering whether the below 0 temps had anything to do with it???
The bearings are built to withstand high temps, but my theory is that the lube is too thick at temps that we have been experiencing.
I was thinking of either removing the belt when it is extremly cold here, (below 10 or 15) or making up a heater of some nature. I do run a block heater that does actually heat the engine bay slightly, but at these temps, it is negligible.
Thoughts???
