Big motor in 67

I was wondering if a 460 will fit in a 1967 fairlane ranchero with out having to make mods to the front end.

It can be done.
The FE engines are lighter than the 385 series and actually belong in a 67. Just a thought.
Maybe someone like CRITES has a ready to go kit.

I recall a guy with a 67 Ranchero with a 390 said he had trouble keeping the front end under it. Front end parts didn't like the extra 300 lbs from the FE vs. the small block. Since a 351 W will fit, unless you have the 460 for free, you can make a smokin' motor out of a 351 with lots less road hugging weight IMH&BO
