I have already been in contact with Manning.
There is no air suspension available yet for the new truck. It's frame rails are wider than the CC. But I have not given up yet.. Here is the link to Manning:
http://www.truckequip.com/index.html
Also the air package is:

I have also been in contact with gear vendors if your interested.

Remember too that differences in build dates are also subject to dealer allotment. Maybe your dealer is lower on the pecking order or already has his first allotment, so he has to wait his turn for more.

I do know that a dealer that orders alot of trucks will get theirs before a dealer that dont order as many. And as far as air goes last weekend en extreme 4x4 they put a kelderman lift kit on a 08, how they already have one that isn't released yet i would like to know. The news paper said today that ford is shipping the trucks now. Both trucks. (gas and diesel) Any truth to it not sure yet. Last month in diesel power magazine fabtech had a 10 inch lift kit on a 08 and had custom paint job on it so they have had it awhile. Kinda makes you wonder who they know.

Here's the article ballbandit is referring to in January 26th edition of the Courier-Journal. It's the last paragraph of the article about Ford's $12.7 billion dollar loss.

Enjoy!

It is less about who you know and more about the marketing. All you have to do is look at where these vehicles are going. They end up in magazines, on TV, at car shows. This is all free marketing for Ford.
Ford has been known to lend pre-production vehicles to aftermarket suppliers for just this purpose. But once the use of the vehicle is over it must be scrapped as pre-production vehicles can not be sold. Ford has also been known to sell production level vehicles, before public release to aftermarket suppliers for $1.00 for the same purpose and the supplier gets to keep the vehicle. It is all about the marketing.
While not a aftermarket supplier, a Tier 1 supplier I know has had pre-production '08's for more than 6 months and production '08's since they started to roll off the line in early December. They are being used for the making of upcoming commercials, studio work (i.e. Brochures), and of course the auto show season.

Yep, watched the show. Especially interesting how they were saying the truck they were building/driving had the new quite 6.4l. It had the black badging not red.. No wonder why it sounded as quite as a gasser. Also the different types of air ride suspension will work on all the new trucks with the exception of the F450 picked. This one has a new and different frame so no air rides are designed for this one yet.. but I sure they will soon.
