Have 22.5" wheels on 56 C-600 from a U-Haul
truck 76 Vintage. U-haul has special 8:00 tires
made just for them. I think rims are 6" wide.
Can I put newer 11:00 wide tires on these rims?
They are easy to find, 9 or 10" are not,8" non-
existant.

 

 

It's always been my understanding that a wheel will hold 1 size larger. beyond that the tire is liable to come off under air perssure
