Crude oil and wvo mix

I have a friend who uses Crude oil and or 'drip tank gas' oil and mixes it with wvo from a restaurant that he filters .It doesn't separate and he's been using it for two years now,I'm waiting to see what goes wrong before I do it. What do you think?

I would like to see what happens out at 200,000 miles, than at 400,000 miles.

With new diesel pickups selling for $40,000+ I'd want to KNOW that it won't kill my engine!

And I'll keep on saying: NOT IN MY DIESELS!!!

End of rant.................

AGREED !!!!!

No sense in cutting the engines lifespan in half with some cheap fuel that will have unknown side effects.

A new T444e engine cost $10K.
At $2.50/gal thats 4000 gals of fuel I get 16MPG which means I can go 64,000 miles for the cost of an engine, thats 2 to 3 years worth of driving to save a few bucks.

Not worth it.
