Surging Problem

Surging Problem
I recently had several problems fixed underwarranty- replaced the turbo due to pitting (turbo would not spool) and fuel pump (no start/difficult start with warm engine). Just before these repairs the truck would not start warm at all after surging while in idle at at low speed driving. I thought these repairs fixed the problem; however, the surging has returned and the truck stranded my wife yesterday, so its back to the dealer when I get home.
Is this likely the EGR or EBP as reported in this forum early on '04 trucks or perhaps something new?

I have an 04 that surged pretty badly until they found a wiring chafe. The tech had looked for the problem three times before a recall on wiring harness. During wiring recall work, small chafe was found and taken care of and truck NEVER surged again.
Others have reported sticking EGR valves as a surging cause.
Find a good tech. He or she will find the problem.
Good luck. Keep us posted.
