Sad thing is that he said he would have bought it at the original $5900 "buy-it-now" price, but some moron beat him to it, and then emailed me to say he clicked on the B-I-N button "by mistake" (which is odd considering there are about four confirmation clicks required to actually "buy-it-now") - that guy cost me $3150! So, yes, I lost my shirt on this one (had about $7000 into it), but I need the money, and the guy who got a hell of a deal seems to really like the truck, so there are worse things in life.

(Strange thing I've noticed is that the more honest your description of an item on ebay, the less bids you get - has anyone else noticed this?)

 

I am selling my '78 F-150 4X4 which I purchased new in July '78 . Fresh 351M and C-6 last fall , rebuilt 351 . 5- 33"X 10.5" X 16" 5 bolt Wild Country TX Radial Mudders. All new brakes 2000 miles ago , everything except the lines . Daily driven and needs only a bolt on front universal cap and the tranny pan gasket tightened or replaced . New rear spring shackles and Rancho 5000 shocks , not yet installed . 4" Munroe Rough Country Lift Kit with new 250 rated Waren Coils on the front and extra secondary leaf on rear , Waren hubs 3 years old , beauty rings , hub covers , spare brand new seat with western tweed and leather cover . full truck load of spare driveline parts including front and rear diffs and front axles , steering box , etc etc . too many parts to list and the ole' girl basically needs a lower cab rebuild or whole cab and box rebuild or deck .

Runs like a top and has been maintained in that condition for 30 years .

Bought a 1962 MCI Coach Home Conversion that will now be taking all my spare time and I have not put 1500 miles on the Ford in 2 years .

Looking for a ford radio complete and working.Need one for my 78 f250. AM or AM/FM cassette or 8 track whatever looks good. I only ever listen to hockey or ball games on AM anyway.

hey guys...I just bought a 2004 f250 harley davidson and am selling the 2002 supercrew lariat with 5.4L engine...It has dual exhausts (magnaflow) and k/N polished intake and an sct tuner on it...runs like a top at 206km never had any probs with it..what made me buy the new one was ...well I'm a show off and the right opportunity came up....looking to get 15,000 or best offer. it was recently e-tested, had new bridgestone dueler revo tires put on it.(2 at a time..fronts are 4 months old rear less than 1000km on them) and will be safetied once a serious buyer drops the money down...right now it has a leaky axle seal which will be getting fixed asap...it has been sitting for 1 month and i noticed it last week...don't want it to sit for long...needs to get back to work anyone interested pm me or phone 613 850 3407 I am located in Ottawa
