Awesome looking truck. How does the 6.2 and tranny handle the lift and heavy tires? Search for gears or struggle?

"""How does the 6.2 and tranny handle the lift and heavy tires? Search for gears or struggle?"""

I'm going to jump in there on that question....
I had a 2008 F350 6.4 almost the same as my new 2015 F350, but my 2015 is a 6.2 gas. At that time in 2008 I needed a diesel to pull a 17K trailer. Now I need a truck that will pull a 10K trailer so I wanted to "try GAS". I am happy with the shifting, pulling power, ( I ordered mine with 4.30's ) and every way that it drives. I really like the good old V8 sound when you hit the gas pedal! My diesel had it's batch of problems, it was at the dealer way too much..... so far it seems like the gas mileage is the only draw back of a big GAS F350. I can get 17mpg on the freeway at 62 mph. So far it has my old diesel beat in/on and for ""My Application"".

It tow's good to great and sounds old school when you hit the pedal. Loving it!
