SteveW84RC,

Just curious - if you can say - what do you do for "work" that you get to offroad 300 miles a month ? Just an old guy here that is curious what cool jobs people have that lets them get paid to go off roading.

If you can't answer fro security reasons - completely understand.

Have a good one

Dan

Thank you... I just have too get it to ride smoother. I mean sure I'm no stranger to a lifted truck riding like a lifted truck but these days they don't have to.

You uploaded the picture from your Gallery, the others came from your album.

Here is my F250, aka "Moby Dick" at work......

5 in. lift up front (3 in. leafs, 1 in. shackle, and 1 in. block).
3 in lift on rear (5 in. block).

Centerline 16.5 x 10 w/Goodyear Military OZ 37x12.5x16.5, w/2 spares.

Going to move rear section of exhaust to try to get 37 in. spare underneath.

I do nearly 300 miles per month off road for work. 37s made a huge difference off road ! 37s dont like to go to much over 65 mph, but putting them on gave me nearly 1.5 mpg better milage on hwy. Running 4.30 factory gears. Final drive with 37s is about 3.66

I am planning on lifting it another in. because the front tires rub on the backside of the front wheel well.

Those Humvee 37in used Goodyear tires are fantastic. I have well over 12K on a used set and they are still going strong. The UV inhibitor in the rubber is making them last a really long time. The pair I have on the rear are 15 years old ! The front pair are 7 years old !

One thing I would like to do is to swap out the Dana 50 in front for a Dana 60, then add a limited slip differential. That would give me limited slip front and rear. That makes a huge difference off road.

Steve in Tucson
I've had the Military BF Goodrich 37x 16.5 for awhile now and they're great, if your gonna go up I'm at 6.5 inch lift and I have no rubbing issues Steve.

Truck looks great man! Ranger looks good too, man would I love to have one of those. Aaa someday haha.

So do you have any rubbing issues with those tires on the truck? What rims are those? Are they Pro Comp's? Curious because I plan to run some 315/75R16's on 16x10 Pro Comp 1069, which look just like yours, on my truck eventually.

Truck looks good, hoping mine will look similar someday.

The center caps are M/T so id guess thats what the wheels are. the tires just rub if you have it flexed right but its only on the mudflap or inner fender

Ok, thanks. Yeah those are the M/T Classics then, look just like the Pro Comp 1069, pretty much identical. Does it rub at all at full lock when on a flat surface? Dang those are some long mud flaps! What brand are they?

With the molded mudflap they made a noise but i cut the rib out of the inside part and they didnt touch and the mudflaps i made myself there 1/4 thick they do rub a little but nothing thats going to tear your fender off. the reason i wanted long mudflaps is because first of all its black and really hard to keep clean second if i hit one mudpuddle even with the little factory ones it still sprayed the whole side. Third i want the protection so my cab corners aint out in 2 years so they do the job and suit the purpose

Beautiful truck! Great proportions. But get the heck outta here with that parking garage picture! I wish there were garages near me that fit my truck!

Thanks! Yeah, I've got about 6" clearance in the garage at work. That was one of my worries after I bought it......whether or not I'd fit in the garage at work.
