Actually, I'm only interested in the Reese rails becuase I'm getting an air hitch by Easy Rider (www.easyriderhitch.com). It sits on the Reese rails and uses the Reese 4-way head.

Thumbs up B&W hitch, great tip

The scarry thing was cutting the hole in the bed. I stressed over this for awhile before jumping into it and measured several times before using the hole cut saw. After I installed it I realized that you have about a 1/4 inch leway in each direction. Other than the hole in the bed there was no other cutting or drilling. It took me about four hours to install but it would not take that long again now that I know how to do it. Congrats on your purchase!
Thanks for the tip about the B&W hitch. I am definitely going to order one of those.

Last word from BW is that they do not have a hitch yet for the 2008 SD. They stated they have not seen one yet and until they get one they will not be able to produce a hitch. I hope they get one soon as my 08 is ordered and I need to get a BW installed ASAP so I can transport horses. Clocks tickin.

Was talking to a friend of mine today about all the toys I want to put on the truck after I get it and I was having a hard time explaining to him about the custom frame mount. So I went to Reese's website to show him a picutre and the install instructions so he could see what I was talking about. And lo-and-behold, they have a kit for the 2008! I'm going to e-mail and confirm. If it's true, I'm going to order me a set so I can be ready when the truck comes.

I got confirmation from Reese today that kit 50049 will fit the 2008 250 / 350 for the standard in-bed rails, and that kit 30073 will fit for the Signuature Series (under-bed rails).

Check out Reese for yourselves http://www.reeseprod.com/

Looks like the wife and I will be 5th wheel shopping in February!

Just got the email below from B&W about the turnoverball for the 08.
