I can't find the axle code (F2) in my manual. Does anyone know which one that is?

 

Axle code, what are you particularly looking for? Do you want to know a certain model or gear ratio, etc? If it is a 99-01 you have a Dana 50, and 2002-2004 is a Dana 60. Other than that there isnt much difference, they are all open differentials.

 

I can only find F1 listed in the manual:

F1 — 3.73 limited slip, F-350 (dual rear wheels)

My truck has an F2 code on the door...I was wondering about the gear ratio. I have a 2001 DWR.

 

I went up a model year and found the F2 code.

F2 — 4.10 limited slip, F-350 (dual rear wheels)
