Have a 223 F-100 60, just purchased a 223 F-100 57. Question, the 60's dip stick is in front on the drivers side, the 57 on the passenger side rear. I've been told the 57 could be out of a car or maybe a one ton job, does anyone know, both blocks are painted green.

We have both a '57 and a '60 F-100 in my family. Reasonably sure that both have stock engines. Neither one is where I can look at it right now, but I can tell you that the dip-sticks are on opposite sides.
