I have a spare 200 amp 2001 4.6L dohc alternator.

Does anyone know if it will fit the 06 5.4L 3v? They mount in the same spot on each engine.

If it will not fit I'm thinking of mounting a second alt on my truck. That should be fun, lol...

 

I know the 2V and 4V mount different. Not sure about the 3V.

 

Yeah, the 3v mounts right where the 4v mounts, so if it's not the same alt, it's gotta be pretty close. I'm sure I can make a bracket or fab up something to get it to fit.
