Injector Replacement

I just found out the the # 3 injector in my 95psd is bad. Has anyone here replaced injectors before, how complicated is it? and wher is the best place to purchase an injector. My mechanic will charge me $ 200+ parts to replace. Thanks

Injector replacement is not a hard job. Check out beans diesel performance dot com for quality rebuilt injectors. Aslo from beans: http://www.beansdieselperformance.co...torinstall.htm ; this has the ijector install instructions. You can also search this site for "injector +install" for more info than you will ever need

Just order mine from Beans today need to send my cores first theyre low on cores.

Im doing them myself its not really hard, this is the first time Ive done this.
Its just a PITA because I have a van, its like working in the bottom of a bucket with handcuffs on.
I wish I could pay some one $200 to pull them and put them in.
Although the hardest part isnt the injectors its getting to them.

You might think of trying Alliant injectors. You can get new injectors for what you will be charged for rebuilt injectors. They are TOP quality. Alliant.com I have been changing over each time one goes out.
