Tire Inflation recommendations

Hi folks,

Should I inflate my tires to the recommendation inside the door or on the sidewall of the tire? I currently have the stock 275/70-18E Continental tires on my truck.

Thanks,

Dave

Use the recommendations on the door. The psi on the tire is the max.

Use the recomended tire pressure on the door when you are hauling weight for tire longevity but when empty I air down to 55 - 60 front and 55 psi rear. You can tell by chalk testing tires, full air on an empty truck you will wear out the centres fast without airing down a bit.
