I have an old dodge diesel and it aint no slug. Its a 91 so many of yall could take me...however I have taken a stock 6.0 across the line with him a length behind me...No offense, just take it easy on the cummins...

what is your investment on mods in your 7.3 Dockboy??? you can pm me if youd like, Someone needs to come to albany for the redneck nationals next year, the fastest danm ford there was a 10 something 1/8 mile, brought me waayyyy down!!!!!ill def be runnin next year!!

is it a stick or automatic? i personaly like those dodges beter then any of the newer ones

Jocaren,

If you were to take a stock truck and build it like mine it would cost you in the neighborhood of $20-25K plus all the work.

I'll be in NC at the OBX race this coming weekend. It's an 1/8 mi. also. The trucks 1/8 mi. times are 8.1-8.2 on fuel and 7.4-7.5 on nitrous.

cause fords will always be strokin while dodges are already cummins

thats pretty much the cummins vs the stroke if you really think about it....the cummins on a dyno cumms to to peak and then its done, strokers keep on stroking through the rpm range.....although we all know that the cummins if the fastest diesel out there now so no need to throw that into the mix !

Ive seen guys pull their max power at 1700-1800 and hold within 30hp of that all the way to 3000.

Cummins should be runnin, cause if your not Strokeing your not Cummin. Cummins a good motor but I still say PowerStrokes better, I see more, new and old.

more= better huh? My truck is still running strong at 150k, nothing for these, my buddy has 300k on his 97 dodge, while another buddys powerstroke died 3 weeks ago...a 97 with only 97k on it...

Did not say more = Better. more, have lasted longer. I know of a 99PSD with 597,000 kms. Dodge is good. you like the look its alight. they all get a job done. Fords styll got a edge on them, with the F-450.
