Jocaren,
If you were to take a stock truck and build it like mine it would cost you in the neighborhood of $20-25K plus all the work.
I'll be in NC at the OBX race this coming weekend. It's an 1/8 mi. also. The trucks 1/8 mi. times are 8.1-8.2 on fuel and 7.4-7.5 on nitrous.
thats pretty much the cummins vs the stroke if you really think about it....the cummins on a dyno cumms to to peak and then its done, strokers keep on stroking through the rpm range.....although we all know that the cummins if the fastest diesel out there now so no need to throw that into the mix !
Cummins should be runnin, cause if your not Strokeing your not Cummin. Cummins a good motor but I still say PowerStrokes better, I see more, new and old.
more= better huh? My truck is still running strong at 150k, nothing for these, my buddy has 300k on his 97 dodge, while another buddys powerstroke died 3 weeks ago...a 97 with only 97k on it...
Did not say more = Better. more, have lasted longer. I know of a 99PSD with 597,000 kms. Dodge is good. you like the look its alight. they all get a job done. Fords styll got a edge on them, with the F-450.
