Need Help

My company has a 99 E150 van auto that has a problem, just started this morning. The van will start just fine, but the ABS light flashes and it will not go into gear. The shifter will not move. The ABS light does not start flashing until you apply the break and try to shift.

On most Fords the shift lock actuator is wired to the brake light switch.

If the brake lights are not working you cant shift.

That was it. Blown fuse took awhile since I did not have an owners manual for it. Imagine that, 20 ford vans in the fleet and not one with an owners manual still in the pocket.
