223 six cylinder

This may be the wrong place to post this.
With that being said, many months ago several people mentioned they had 223 six cylinder available, well I saved those messages, I saved them so well I can't find any of them!!
If any of you guys have a 223 that has been pulled, I am interested, since mine died on the side of the road last weekend, loud bang and big puff of smoke, I am really needing a motor, and will have to put off the 302/351 idea for later. I'd rather be running on six than stuck in the garage idenfinitely.
I'm in Nashville TN.
If this is the wrong place to solicit parts sorry guys, tell me where to put the word out.
Brian

Hi Brian,

Probably best if you post your need in the classifieds section of the site. You may get a reply here but it's more likely you'll get one there.

The other problem is that your here message will stay in the forum archive and in a couple of years you'll still be getting responses from folks who've searched the archive and found your post. Not the end of the world but can get kinda annoying.

Hope you find that engine!

This must be the week for 223's, I am buying one tomorrow for my '53 project. Glad to see people using these, they are great little engines.
