Replacing ball joints

Can anyone give me a breif description on changing ball joints on a 96 f350? Also, what's th best brand to go with for the replacements.

Moog or TRW with grease fittings are the ones I use and trust.

Do you have a 4x4?

Chillton or Haynes repair manuals have a step by step instructions for ball joints. You will need a Ball joint press. You can rent them for free at Autozone or Murrays.

Napa sells an upper quality joint (serviceable) with lifetime warranty at a good price.

All was the same except the hub, instead of beating the thing out of the knuckle with a chissel, go rent the puller, yes they make a puller to do this.
