Access to back of Radio/Disk changer
I am trying to get access to the back of the stock 6CD radio that came in my 2007 F-250 SD Lariat. I am trying to add a plug into the AUX connector, to be able to hook up my IPOD. I have purchased the right black box to accomplish this, but step #1 says to plug into AUX connection in back of headunit. WOuld have been nice to tell me how to get to that point Any help or tips on how to remove the dash or radio for this procedure would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help !

I got help for another car of mine from these people for a small fee.

BTW, I added an Aux input for my ipod in that car. Now I want to add one to my 2002 Mercury Mountaineer with the indash 6 disc changer. I have not been able to find an Aux Input kit for this radio. Where did you get your Aux unit?

07diesel4X4,
Dash bezel must be removed. It is held on by clips and just pops off. Start in one corner and work slowly. Also be sure to unplug the connectors attached to the switches that are attached to the bezel, before you pull it to far away from the dash. If you have and automatic trans you may need to shift the lever all the way down to low in order to get clearance to get the bezel out. After you have removed the bezel, the radio is held in by 4-screws which you will see. Remove the screws and the radio slides out.
Reverse the process to re-install.
Hope this helps
