At Rattlesnake Raceway all the other mud boggers got snakebit by Skipped-Link's mighty F1 in the mud races. The only real competition was offered by a Toyota pickup with a built 440 and maximum tires. The F1 won two out of three, loosing one when the truck got a little sideways and Leroy had to let up on it for a sec.
Every time the big F1 appeared the crowd went crazy. And when he fired up that blown alcohol burner everyone within a half a mile could feel it.
We are counting this as a successful Nevada Chapter get together since two Nevada guys plus WillyB from the Northern California Chapter were in attendence. Imagine, three FTEers in the same place! Next time we will shoot for a dozen. Thanks to Skipped-Link for creating a rallying point. It was great, very much worth the trip.
It was a very good event with lots of circle track racing put on as a sideshow to Leroy's performance.

Besides the racing,I too had a great time, my only regret was not being able to spend more time visiting you and Clint during the races, unfortunaly at most events I have the attention span of a 3 year old,
The breakfast meet was a great time, I enjoyed hearing stories from the past & a little history behind the people I talk to here on FTE,
If the next meet is schedualed when I have the time, you can count me in,
Oh, by the way, I am loading the videos now, when they are finished I'll post them up,

Yeah, conversation is difficult with all the racing going on. And thanks for breakfast!!!
It was good that we did have some time to chat.
I look forward to seeing the videos. We took some stills and Clint is going to crop them and get them posted too.

Hey, I am a Nevada Chapter member too!!! There were three Nevada members there, and two California members!
Too bad the other Nevada Guys wimped out - I hope they enjoyed their honey-do projects. I was hoping that living in Nevada put hair on your chest, but I guess most Nevada guys are dancers in the casino's chorus line!
