Talking Looking for suggestions on Sunroof Install in GA

Hello everyone,

First, I would like to say hello to everyone on this forum. I came across in on Google and have spent the last 3 hours reading some of the informative posts that can be found on here.

The question I have is that I have a 2004 - Ford F-250 Lariat - Fx4. I want to have a sunroof/moonroof installed that will look as close to factory OEM as possible.

I am located outside of Atlanta, GA and wanted to find out if anyone on this forum has used any companies around GA for a sunroof install and had a positive experience. I do not know what to expect to pay for one, but I am interested in getting one. This is about the only option that my truck does not have.

If anyone can help with good suggestions, please let me know.

Thank you very much!

LARRY

Try contacting sunroof manufs, they will know who around you is buying them. Donmar is close to me and seem to make a good product, I don't know who else makes any though.

One Idea I had after talking to a couple buddies(they co-own a body shop) was to go a junk yard and grab one, I wanted a non-powered one, but with out their help I don't think I personally would tackle it on my own.

Try Rusty at Spartan Lincoln Mercury in Morrow next to Southlake Mall. Tell him David in Salt Lake City gave you his name. Rusty is the manager in the parts department and is one of my best friends. Even if they do not do it, he will know who to get you in touch with.

Another person to try is Doug Hall at Innovative Sounds in Stockbridge. I don't know if Doug does sunroofs, but he is another one that will know where to go. I know Doug from when he originally opened his shop. If you talk to him, tell him David and Anne with the Explorer says Hi...
