I have a issue with my 99 Ford F150. I just had some enigne work done to it. I blew out number 4 spark plug from the head. it cost me 1800.00 to get fixed. what puzzles me is when i took the truck to a machione shop they said to me "I get this same truck and engine at least 2-3 times a month". So I called a friend who works at a local ford dealer shop. Yes its apears that there is a bad stamp because he sees at least 3-5 a month right now. Same engine, 5.4L.

I wonder how many are there out ther ethat are having problems with there 5.4. If so i htink ford should help out with this repair. If there is a "bad stamp"

 

The spark plug blowing out is very common with the 5.4 do a search and you wills ee a ton of info.
