What AT tires did you buy?

Looking for a good AT tire that quite on pavement but will still get the job done off road.
Thanks in advance

I've always had good luck with the BF Goodrich All Terrain TA's. They aren't too noisy on the road, work really well off road, and you can get alot of miles out of them.

I have the BFG Rugged Trails on my F 250 & GoodYear Silent Armor Wranglers on my Bronco. Both are really quiet. Got 50K on the first set of BFG's on my F250.

I've got the Bridgestone Dueler Revos. Not sure how good they are off-road but they last a long time and are queit on the road.

Check out the Nitto Terra Grapplers. Great tire on the road and worked extremely well off road and in loose sand. I'll buy more of these!

I put on a set of BFG AT's (285/17's) about 6 months ago. First time owner of BFG's and love these tires. I hear the Bridgestone Revo's are also awesome tires.

After the 3 inch skyjacker, I put on the BFG AT 285 x 65r x 18's. I have always had the BFG's on my 4x4's and love them. Very quiet and great in loose sand.

Rich, if you're like me you will never post any pics if you have to wait until your truck is clean. We drive using trucks, not show trucks.

I will post pics of mine with the Coopers this weekend.

When I first brought it home my wife took one look at the ice studs and said "you bought tires with nails in them?"

Try to drive a truck with Cooper Discoverer ST's on it. They are a great tire, but the noise level may be more than you can live with. I think Cooper may still have a 30 day return policy.

If you have 17" wheels try out the Toyo M-55's as well. (Oops, just noticed you have an FX4 meaning 18's).

Otherwise, I'd have to agree with the BFG's.

Just remember as one mechanic friend once told me, "if you don't like the road noise turn up the radio".

Toyo Open Country A/T's. I have 30k miles on them and they are still very quiet. Very good tires IMO. These tires are very similar to the Nitto Terra Grapplers.

I agree. I have had three sets of them on three different trucks and loved them. My '06 has 20"s and its a lease. Im gonna wait until I decide whether I want to buy it b4 I slap another set on there
