Thumbs up plunger marks on rear window

To remove the marks, use either an alcohol wipe or use alcohol directly from the bottle on a clean white cloth or cotton ball. Clean, rinse with clear water, then repeat. Worked for me!

One thing I have found to get stubborn marks off glass is Mequiars paint cleaner. It will not hurt the glass and after buffing it off, use windex to get the residue.

Anyone that has taken the Ford factory tour in Dearborn where the F 150 is built would see that the robots use big suction cups to install the windshields in the cab (no human involved!!) and most likely the rear glass is as well. Try using Clay Magic on the glass and then clean it. I think that might remove the marks.

I have the fixed glass and don't have them. However, my rear glass looks rippled at certain angles. Looks like a polarizing/tinting issue from the factory.

Probably no entry attempt. I imagine at the factory, they use a mechanical arm to lift the window in place and they use an air actuated rubber cup to create suction to hold the window to the arm.

i have found wd-40 to be an awesome cleaner. you might try that, and then clean it with regular glass cleaner.

nah, a razor won't scratch the glass. I painted kenworth trucks for 8 years and in touch up shop we used razor blades and steel wool to clean the glass from over spray... no scratches

I have it on my windshield. Haven't noticed it on my rear manual slider though.
