Well todays meet went great! It was alittle small, OK real small. But Darren and I had fun, it was very nice meeting him. We took a couple pictures of the trucks, I'll get them up soon.
We were hoping more of you could have made it today but that's OK. Hopefully I'll get to meet you all soon enough. The offer for tomorrow is certainly still open for anyone that wants to stop by. I won't be tearing the truck down, but will be here at home instead.

To start off with I have to give Barr (bterry) a special thank you for opening up his house to me and agreeing to hold this G2G. Although it was "small" as Barr mentioned I had a great time meeting his family and to see Conklin. His family is the greatest and I really enjoyed spending the time with them. Barr you are a lucky man!!!
Barr gave me a tour of Conklin and the even though it has been cleaned up you can still see the devastation that occurred there. It is sad to see people who have lost their homes. As Barr mentioned to me he was lucky, but some of his friends were not. Very sad.
Sorry the rest of you did not make it. It would have been nice to meet the rest of you. We will see about getting something else going. Thanks again to Barr. You were a great host!!!

Sorry I couldn't make it I really would have liked to meet you guys. I have to budget carefully for things in advance. This weekend is Bloomsburg Jamboree, then in September my wife and I go to North Wildwood, N.J. for Irish weekend, that is a blast. Four days of partying. This past sunday we took a day trip to Atlantic City(no casino action), I like White House Subs so we picked up hoagies and went to the A.C beach instead of Wildwood. It was my first time on the beach there in 35 yrs., probably my last, it was filthy. The water was warm but no waves to speak of and the beach was loaded with broken shells and peoples trash. So much for the casinos improving the area. We then took a ride along Ocean Drive to Wildwood, once outside of A.C. everything got much better, stopped and checked out various beaches along the way, what a difference. Looks like we will keep our shore experience to the southern most part of N.J.
