I was on number six when I turned the ratchet and felt it turn way too easy. It turns out the bolt was weak and broke inside the mounting. Does anyone know of a company in southern California, Los Angeles areas that can remove broken bolts such as these? Any help is much appreciated.

 

had the exact same one break. i stuffed my kids 4x4 truck toy tire on top of the COP and under the fuel rail. holds it right in place. works great!!! free!!!

 

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm looking for a more permanent fix, in case I decide to sell the Expy down the road. A new buyer would probably not see it as a minor problem, and want me to fix it anyway.

 

not a problem. i'm not one for cobbling stuff myself, but getting at that bolt is going to be time consuming and knowing that i could ruin something else in the process, why take the chance. if someone is buying a 6 yrs old expy you better know how to turn a wrench or know a good mechanic. i have two kids and need the gas money!!
