Moving On, Maybe

On August 8th im on a flight to England Most likely for good. So im going to put my truck out into the world to see if i can make back some of the money i have put into it. non eof it was a waste, i enjoyed almost all the tiome ive spent on my truck and i am severly unhappy that im going to part with it. i bought it 2 years ago as my first car that i bought with my own money, i bought it 3 weeks after my parents bought me the '78 LTD

If the truck will sell i am going to sell it. if not just put it in the garage and see what happens. ill just see if im coming back to america or not.

Take a look at the truck and you can see where it came from. I Know its not much but all the work ive done on it has been in the last 2 1/2 months. It started as a car with no floors bed tires brakes or pretty mych anything else. it had sat since 1990 and i got it running driving and for the most part safe. my goal for it was a rat rod of sorts and i think i basically have it. it sounds liek a mean truck, looks liek one for the most part too. just recently i took the interior apart again and i just never got around to building mounts for the seats. Also as of today the carb completly died, it will occasionally fire up and will only stay runnign if i keep it around 3000 RPM, runs just enough to move it around the yard.

anyways i just thought i'd let you knwo my situation, and thought you may liek to see what a 17 year old kid started. i never finshed the bodywork or put the new bed on liek i wanted.

Please look at my gallerys, leave comments, and maybe even have a decent thread here.

Thanks Guys
-Josh

P.S. if anybody has a working Carb for a 223, may i have it or buy it off you? i need an air cleaner too.

I hate to see you take off, but you got to do what you got to do. I hope you enjoy it there.. watch out for those traffic cameras and Camera vans.

Unfurtunately i cant buy anything at the moment...How much you hoping to get for it?

After you go to europe, will you still be coming onto the forum?

Now that would be awesome: P a slick in england, now with gas at $8.50 a Gallon there, the 223 would be REAL nice :P

And the Truck is for sale in cleveland Ohio for $750 or best offer, for anybody on the forum :P

And i think the carb problem is that there is water and some junk in the jets, gonna be cleaned in a bit
