Parts compatibility
Let me apologize for the long post up front.
I just bought a 67 F250 at an estate auction on a local farm. I had originally planned on just beating it to death as a beater, but after looking over the site, I'm starting to think about trying to restore it to something close to original.
Well, after 33 years of use on a farm, it is in pretty rough shape. I will need to find some safety related items first: brakes, etc. I've checked out the disc retro page and think I will try that rather than refurb'ing the drums. Will other mechanical parts bolt on?
I will also need some body parts. Did Ford change the body parts significantly over the 65-72 timeframe? If I mix and match, will it look ridiculous, or are they pretty close?
Thanks in advance, and hopefully I'll be able to post some pics of the progress once I get started.

65-66 body parts are completely different from 67-72 parts. All 67-72 body parts should interchange, the grills are different and so is some of the trim but otherwise they are the same.
