Talking Bias vs. Radial

Can I get a quick opinion on this?

My wheels are 16.5", and before I spend the $ to replace the rubber I want to know the best bang for my buck..
I can get a set of 36" Bias ply delivered for 400 bucks... but I am unsure if I should go the bias route.

Any one here had experience on the road with them? I am on the road mostof the time, but can't pass a mud hole withpout diving in for a spin!

Yeah.. thats the decision I made today.. thanks for the reply.
I ordered a set of radials. They are a much less aggressive tread pattern.. Kelly Safari's..
I had a set on my Durango a few years ago and they never did me any wrong, and for the price I can't complain too much.

Finally get to drive my truck...I've had 2 front flats for over a month.. damn tires are expensive.

the ride and handling of radials is much better, not to mention they don't howl as bad...

So I get my tires mounted and balanced and decide it is time for an alignment....only to find out my inner and outer tie rod ends are junk.... Sat for 2 months while I saved to buy the tires.. now I get to take apart the front suspension.
Never done it before.. how hard could it be...right?

The worst part is generally getting the tie rod end loose from the sleeve, sometimes easy, other times, not so easy... Overall though, not bad. Pay attention to ebay, I have gotten some good deals there on new name brand parts, got my short end for $30 if I recall, waaay more than that from a parts shop...
