Unhappy a new vibration

I have about 400 miles on my new 06 250 supercab 4x4 6.0l 6spd. At about 1500 rpm in second gear only, i get a little vibration that I can feel in the steering wheel. I can't tell whether it's some type of harmonic in the front end or a vibration from the engine running through the steering linkage. It only occurs in 2nd gear. I am still trying to get used to the new truck, so it might even be normal. My only other trucks have been gas 150's. It may be that things just need to finish breaking in.

thanks

I'll try to figure the speed on the way home. I may have to wind first gear up fairly high to get the speed. I don't think I can run in third that slow. I'll give it a shot.

What is the thought process here? To identify whether the problem is speed related vs. rpm related? Then try to identify whether it's front end or engine related? I guess if it happens in a different gear same speed, it's probably not tranmission related.

Question

well, I checked it out yesterday. I seem to feel it in first gear also, but it's at pretty high rpm. It seems like it is right around 15 mph. It's just a slight 1-2 second jiggle I can feel in the steering wheel. The sterring is nice and tight, it doesn't have any wandering problems. Just this funny little jiggle at 15mph. It may also be normal as this is my first big boys truck.

I'm still trying to get used to the feel and noises of this new truck.
