What time/mph did you get in the 1/4 and what mods did you have done

 

I dont' think any of the guys here nowdays take their trucks to the drag strip. Most of use are just daily driver kind of guys and will tinker a little with perfromance mods, but tend to count on our trucks too much to subject them to drag racing conditions.

A few years back, there were quite a few guys here that DID get into nitrous, one guy added a supercharger, etc.

I'll look back and see if I can find any of the related threads.
Try using "search" in the 4.2 forum to look for words related to your question. I figure you can find some from a few years back.

I did a hole shot from home depot today with aprox 1200 pounds plus me..LOL The 06 4.2 L accelerated from stop light to stop light with ease, with a noted longer braking distance. You are right Brian, most of use use our trucks as trucks, and we love to carry and pull loads!!!
