How do I know if I have a transmission cooler?

How do I know if I have a transmission cooler?

There is a cooler between the grill and radiator, Is that oil or tranny? Is there a code in the VIN or any other way to tell what coolers I have?

follow the lines is about the best way. my bronco has a trany cooler it goes from the trany to the radiator to the cooler then back to the trany.
