Added pic of extcab Econoline truck.

I added a pic of the Econoline extended cab similar to what I want to do with one of my trucks. It is not to be tandem axle and will extend to include a van side cargo door for back seat access. I want it to be a 2 tone green color. First have to get the shop cleaned up and then I can start on my projects.

That is a very sharp looking Econoline in red. Is that chrome side trim piece stock? The rear side door is an excellent idea.
Did you get the Bobcat out from behind the furniture yet? We had the whole house upside down when we redid the livingroom floor, what a mess. Glad it`s done now and looking good.

Tomorrow plan to move furniture and get the machine out. Its time to clean up the shop and start getting it organised for next winter. Want to build an area to insulate and heat. Then I can work out there during the winter months.
But there are house reno still to be done here also. Too many projects

That is a cool red truck. Looks neat with the tandem axles too, wonder how hard that would be to do?

It would probally easier to find a Econoline van and cut both of them in half, then weld them together. That pic is from Econoline Message board isn't it?

It came from a site called frod-econoline.com it went off for a while and is back with a new format. there was lots of pics there, but gone now. Also lots of info on parts and stuff. It is starting over new.
I saw the picture and said I want to do that. The picture is computerised. Who ever did the pic just stretched it out.
Yes the econolines came with those chrome spears in 66 and 67. It was an option.
