Rattle around left front tire 91 Ranger
Howdy folks. This one is probably going to be an easy one, just want to get some backup behind my thought!
My 91 Ranger 2wd has developed a very annoying rattle around the driver side tire whenever going over small bumps or even big ones at that. I know my ball joints, tie rod ends and all that will need replaced soon, so my initial thought was that its my ball joints getting looser and looser. But tonight, I may have proven myself wrong. The noise doesn't occur when the brakes are applied.
SO NOW.... this leaves me to believe that the pins holding my caliper in place are worn out.... or could the brake pad be rattling around a little bit, thanks to a non secure fit? The shocks/springs are virtually brand new by the way, and this not happening when the brakes are applied points me to brake pads or caliper. What do ya think?
