My guess is that this goes for all F-series with gas engines but i'm not sure.

My 4.2 is toast thanks to my dipstick being rotted in half. Last place I thought to look after a hydrolock but the good ol vermont weather and mud season must of killed it.

Perhaps this should be a sticky and it may save some people the grief of a rebuild or a new power plant.
