Well I'm close on my 2000 Super Duty at 137,000 miles. So far it has had one alternator, rear seals twice, the passenger side right front wheel bearing, the passenger side rear spring and tie rods. And other than an intermittent COP miss that I can't nail down to the cylinder the engine has been problem free (knock on wood).
Turned 130k, had to pull the motor after the dealer worked on it. Four of the brackets that hold the cam in place mysteriously loosened up. The cam walked, now I have to replace the heads. Other than that it's been great!
My 98 expy 4x4 EB just rolled the 40k mark last week. MY pops 2000 E-250 5.4 has upwards of 170k on it though. THese are nice motors but his uses some oil between changes. Probably from all those New York City hard ridden miles.
i've got almost 109,000 miles on my 01 5.4 Supercrew and still going strong. for the last 5,000 miles it has had flowmaster and a k&n air filter. i plan on running this truck till the engine blows and at this rate it will be a long time.
my friends 01 expedition has 315,000 on it. it was retired last week for a new 06 range rover. the expedition is now a site truck for use in one of the marine terminals. it still runs fine, and has only had 2 tuneups, 2 front end rebuilds, 3 coils replaced and 1 ac recharge. the reason for the retirement was the body is getting a bit ratty.
