If you read the posts below the article, one of them mentions that it's for Chrysler Group employees, who are returning leasees...which would make for a very limited group of people. And the dealership would probably still be making money with the payments from a 2-yr lease, and the van to sell off afterwards. Blue book retail for a '04 Grand Caravan with 20k right now is $16k, not much of a loss for the dealer.
