I am a 19 year old male. I live in California and drive a 90 F150 2wd. I am fully covered, get a good-student discount, and I have no accidents. I pay 90 dollars/month. I feel lucky.

Too much...
Well its better now I don't have the car or the SuperDuty, but under 25 year old males with performance cars have to a bit of a cash cow for insurance companies (well the ones that don't crash anyway)
My insurance got well into 4 figures per month... and then it got to the point where nobody would insure my car

F-150 is about $60, Mustang is about $40.
Since I got speeding ticket recently (65 mph in 50 mph zone) I'm pretty sure insurance will go up soon.

25 y.o. male (technically single) with a 2000 Explorer XLT 4x4. I've got one minor speeding ticket and no accidents. I'm covered for a million bucks and it only costs me $125 bucks a month.

20 year old male, no accidents, no tickets, full coverage, 2000 Ford F-150 Extended Cab, 4.6L V8, Sport 4x4. Monthly insurance is about $124 but I'm also on my parents' policy because it keeps it cheaper for me. Without being on their policy I'd be paying about $150 a month.

17, male, colorado resident ($$$), no accidents or tickets. about $81/mo. for 100/300/100 liability along with all the un/under insured motorist and medical charges. Good student discount helps too. No collision or comprehensive for the old mexi-mobile.

120 a month, liability only
$108 a month with my soon to be discontinued discount (my first hour teachers a hack)

82 f150, i think im covered 25k property damage, and 500k in total, and up to 250k for the most $$ person

whatever, insurance companys are blood sucking evil things... like lawyers
The less I call mine, the cheaper my rates are... i plan on trying to, should a crash happen, pay outside of "big brother" if nobodys hurt... cheaper for both partys that way

~Nate

*EDIT*yeah, im 16, and have had my lisance all of 5 days*EDIT*

I wish it was like that here. In Alberta here it used to be like that but then it changed. My insurance is about $120/month, even when I switched from my parents 90 f150, 2wd 5.8L auto to my 66f100 2wd 4.0L manual and insurance never changed, im 18 and got the driver ed certificate and once my 66 is restored its gonna go up just becuse of its quality. It was a few years ago when my insurance would only have been less than $500/year, becuase its old and solid. (BTW, that was all I paid for it)

I'm paying about $125 a month. Just about 19 years old, still under my parents insurance, and I get the good student discount.

Wow, you guys have it easy. I'm stuck here in good old West Virginia, paying these outrages insurance prices. Me and my mom are on the same policy, her 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 with the 318 v8 and my 99 3.0 Ranger 4x4..she's listed as the primary driver on both...liability..we're paying ~$300/month. You all should feel very VERY lucky.
