I would add John's F-Fun Hundreds to the list. I've had very good experiences with them.

And the ONLY parts store worth a c$#p in CA is Napa. They will always help you find what will work, even if it isn't what came stock on your truck. Great folks.

Anyone know of a place to get parts in the Seattle area? I'm flying down for some meetings next week and would like to stock up on a few items and save on postage. The postage from Sac Vintage Ford and other lower '48 places is killing me. I am in the market for some wheels and bumpers, which I'm sure would cost over $300 to ship. I can check them in as luggage and save big $$$.

I've had good success with Sacramento Vintage Ford. I'll have to try John's F-Fun Hundreds after all of the positive mentions they have received here. I have catalogs from many other places but SVF is on the West Coast and that is who I have gone with thus far. I've also been watching eBay for a few specific items lately but have come up short.

I posted the question earlier, I'll try it again: Does anyone know if there is a place in the Seattle area that sells parts for these trucks?

There's one guy who does have some early Ford Truck parts, but definitely NOT a full line dealer. I'll look around and see if I have his card. When F-100 Connection went out of business it left a void in this area. Now none of the big vendors come to this area and we do have a few big swap meets around here. I know if John's or Sac Vintage, etc. came up to the Portland Swap Meet or Seattle (Monroe) I'd probably drop BIG BUCKS getting stuff I need and avoid getting crushed on shipping.

After a week of meetings, combined with the more pleasurable activity of searching for Effy parts, I am happy to report the following parts sources in the Seattle & Portland Areas:

Jimbo's Nifty Fifties
outside of Portland
503.631.2401

He has grilles, some chrome items, gauges, etc... A couple of parts trucks including a panel. Nice older guy working out of a shop at his house.

Rod's Quality Ford Parts
Snohomish, WA
360.668.0258

Working out of a shop behind his house, he has shelves upon shelves of lots of good new stuff. I bought a front hood emblem, tailgate chain covers, wheel trim rings, blue dots, bumper bolts, etc... Saved a ton of $ on shipping. His prices were, in many cases, lower than the catalogs. Best of all he takes credit cards!

There are lots of old Effys around Seattle and Portland. I saw a few posts on Craigslist just while I was down there. In one half hour drive down I-5, I saw two car trailers headed north with old Effys and body parts.

I picked up some 15" gennies painted red with new tires already mounted on them from a guy in Bellingham for $160. Pretty good deal. Sent them north to AK this morning on Lynden for $107 (still a good deal even given the shipping cost). They wouldn't fit in my suit cases, unfortunately.
