hi yall. a friend just called me with a few questions, knowing i have an 88 diesel.
he is in the market for another truck, his 88 F150 has 250k miles on it.
he found a 95 regular cab F350 diesel automatic 4X4, all original, with 160k miles on it.
the old man next to his inlaws just put it out for sale. he is asking $7900 for it, and pat asked for things to look for. the only thing i can think of is the auto trans has allot of miles on it.
i figured this would be the best place to ask, since yall have these newer motors up here.

 

sounds like a smokin truck and if your friend is serious he better not wait. yes the auto wear out but it just all depends on how it was used and serviced.

 

as 97 said--id jump on that--thats a smoking deal--even if it was a rebuild---350's are hard to find----

thanks guys. i just got back from takin a peak at it. the truck is origonal owner, garage kept, used as a car,except to tow the 32 ft. trailer once a year for vacation. not a spot of rust that i saw, and the price is for off the street, not for friends and family. it also has full maintainance records going back to day one. i told pat to snare it before someone else does. he is going to let me know the price after he talks to the guy.
